I'm in NYC tomorrow for Xanadu night performance + Halloween thingie. I could do August in the afternoon, but 3.5 hours is daunting. Does anyone know the running time of The Seafarer? Maybe that would be more feasible. But do want to see August.
I missed in in Chicago but was talking to a theater obsessed pal who's heading to NYC to see it again- he said it was spectacular! Among the very best shows he's ever seen.
THE SEAFARER runs approx 2 hours (including one 15 minute intermission).
I'm seeing both that and AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY two weeks from now and can't wait.

I plan on seeing it a couple of times. A college buddy of mine, Troy West, is in it. He's loving the experience. His first time on Broadway. He was Off Bway in Tracy Letts' BUG.

It really doesn't feel like 3.5 hours, I promise. I saw it twice and would see it again if I could in New York. The acting and writing is so mesmerizing that it's impossible to look away or be bored.
Was your ticket mailed to you or eTIX ? I am worried now.. I hope I did not accidentally throw my ticket out ? bec. I heard it looks like a junk mail ... oh my !
eta: Yeah, it's easy to overlook, Jay. It comes in a yellow envelope, not a white one. And if you don't have it, you're screwed. Neither TDF nor the box office has any record of where you're sitting. Updated On: 10/30/07 at 03:04 PM
