Janine's C6 was impressive I thought - it was her starting middle C that seemed a bit flat to me.

Why, hello Margaret! Yes darling, half past five. Well, everyone, simply le tout Park Avenue and la creme de Hyannis! Well, the press table's going to be awfully crowded... but if you don't mind sharing a folding chair with Harper's Bazaar... Sing? Me? Heavens no, it's Edie's day, not mine... Although people can be so insistent, and I hate to disappoint. Twist my arm, blackmail me, threaten my very life, and who knows? You might get a verse of something...

I like her performance, it's kind of odd to hear someone new in the role but I like the addition of the C at the end of "Show Off". Speaking of high notes that Janine hits, does anyone know what note she hits at the end of "Amazing Gertrude"?

I'm kind of a sweat pant, t-shirt, no make-up type of girl. So once a year, I can get spiffy. Sutton Foster :)

I could probably tell you if I heard it. Got a clip?

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

I don't just the cast recording. Also I'm pretty sure Sutton didn't sing "Astonishing" that way at a live performace as stated before, clips I've seen of her she wasn't belting the end.

I always remember her singing her heart out in Astonishing - it was one of the best parts of an otherwise mediocre show.

It's a D at the end of Amazing Gertrude.

"People that excel in the arts understand that the journey is the reward...the result an added bonus. Every day I act or train is a blessing and a dream come true. If Broadway beckons so be it. I have a personal definition of success that is unshakable by a possibly unobtainable goal." -HamletWasBipolar

I love Janine... but that high C was not very pretty. The rest of the song sounded great.
