I think that Sherie Rene Scott and Norbert Leo Butz have amazing onstage chemistry (in both Last 5 Years and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels); you can really tell that they're close friends. And I think that Kelli O'Hara and Victoria Clark have great onstage chemistry as daughter and mother in Light in the Piazza.

Yeah, I was going to say Sherie and Norbert. They definitely have the best chemistry.

And I guess the reason I became a Rent fan in the first place was because Daphne and Adam had pretty fantastic chemistry.

Lane and Broderick had chemistry in Producers....now Broderick's like a dead fish.

Norbert and Sherie are great.

Michael Cerveris, Patti LuPone, and Audra MacDonald also have great chemistry.

Hmm...

I do have to put in a special vote for Idina and Cheno. Sorry, but I really do think they were great and worked well with eachother and bounced off of eachother splendidly. Their wonderful chemistry was undeniable if you ask me.

I really have RENT on the brain right now:

I think Cary Shields and Matt Caplan have a great chemistry. They play off eachother well.

And I think Adam and Anthony had and still have tremendous chemistry. They have really complimentary styles and it works so well together.

Tossing in my usual votes for:
(a) Raúl Esparza and Billy Warlock, The Normal Heart
(b) Adam Pascal and Heather Headley, AIDA

Bless my predictability.

And definitely Norbert and Sherie Renee. No matter what the roles, they ALWAYS click.

Hannahshule, I second that!

Maybe I'm just weird, but I don't think Norbert and Sherie have any chemistry. At all. He and Idina, on the other hand, have unbelievable chemistry. And I do think that he and Lithgow have fantastic chemistry.

I remember thinking that Jennifer Laura Thompson and Hunter Foster had great chemistry.

Adam Pascal and...kind of everyone. But he and Deborah Cox stood out to me.

He totally doesn't have chemistry with everyone, as hot as he is. I've actually found him to be really... selective, for lack of a better term, especially so when he was in Aida. If he wasn't feeling it, he'd just sort of flop down on the stage next to whoever was playing Aida. And really, Radames can't look that disinterested. He and Deborah were okay -- I loved him with Saycon, though. uuuugh.

Hah. Thanks.

See, whenever I see him perform, I feel like he's got good chemistry going with everyone. Unless I'm just completely blinded by his...talents.
