Also got some SJB stuff when she was in Little Miss Sunshine. Also out of curiousity has anyone tried Cinderella with Fran and Carly yet? I would love to have a playbill signed. Just curious because I know Carly is the only one (of her and Fran) who signs after shows. Thanks!

Just bumping this up since in December I asked if anyone's sent to "Gentleman's Guide." At that time, I had written a letter and never heard back. I tried again about 4-6 weeks ago and I included a $10 donation to BC/EFA. Last week I received a cast-signed Playbill in the mail! So if you want one, try sending a BC/EFA donation

Question for you guys. I saw All The Way on Sunday with my boyfriend, and sadly Bryan Cranston just waved at the stagedoor but didn't stop as he had to go to an event. My boyfriend is a huge Breaking Bad fan, and he got a show poster that he wanted to get signed (he couldn't afford the $100 BC/EFA signed one). My bf's birthday is in 6 weeks. Do you think if I sent a Playbill or the poster to the theater, they'd get it back to me signed by Bryan Cranston? I'd happily send a donation to BC/EFA, I always donate anyway.

I think you would be most likely to get a Playbill back; I know that some people have gotten them without donations, signed by the cast. You could even try writing two letters: one to the stage manager requesting a Playbill signed by the cast, and one directly to Bryan Cranston... explain that your boyfriend is a huge fan, you guys saw the show, and you were wondering if he would sign the playbill? Maybe he would personalize it to your boyfriend, which would be a cool bday gift

((btw, I've never tried sending a window card, which is why I didn't answer that part of the question!))

loliveve - I got an extra Playbill, so I think I'll try and send it out tomorrow. Thanks for the input! Should I just use the Neil Simon Theater address?

Yeah, if you send it to Bryan Cranston, address it to:

Bryan Cranston
c/o "All the Way"
Neil Simon Theatre
250 West 52nd Street
New York, NY 10019

If you send a separate request to the stage manager, just put the show name, theatre address, and "Attn: Stage Management"

gleek4114- Cinderella is sending out Playbills that are signed by Fran and Carly and other cast members. Though I haven't gotten one (I didn't try), there are several posts on Tumblr.

Just a note- it is suspected that Fran is stamping her signature on the playbills being sent out. I belong to a site called Startiger.com (it's an autograph collecting site) and 5 users have gotten cast signed playbills from the show and all of Fran's signatures on them are identical. Yes, I know that if someone is sitting there signing playbill after playbill, their signature will be pretty much the same throughout- but these are exact. also Fran's signature dose not have the same look as the rest of the signatures on the playbills. I have attached a scan of a few different people's playbills, and if you look on Thumblr you can see that they match too much to be different. Yes, it could be that the marker was dying when she signed them, but they still look way too similar.

She should just stick to her no signing policy. A stamp seems tacky...

Wrote to All The Way. Got this back:
"To raise money for [BC/EFA], we sell cast autographed Playbills for $50 each after each show. We also sell posters and items used in the show. We have kept your self addressed, stamped envelope on file and would be glad to send you a Playbill if you make a donation by sending us a check."

Hi! New to BroadwayWorld and forums in general, so sorry if I'm doing any of this wrong.
I've been reading this thread trying to figure out the exact process on how to mail something to an actor/ theatre. I'm thinking of writing to Zach Braff and Michelle Williams inparticularly. I had no idea you could do this until I came across this thread, so if someone could just give a simple summary on how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated

The "All The Way" reply is kinda ****ty, In my opinion, and I always donate to BC/EFA (at Easter alone I purchased and donated from 4 different shows). So if Bryan Cranston didn't stop at stagedoor that day they ask you for $50, but if he did you got your playbill signed for free? I don't think that makes much sense.

^ I sent to Bullets asking for a playbill from the show and also included my CARRIE playbill for Marin. No word back yet. But I also sent to BRIDGES about two weeks ago (a little after closing was announced), and today I checked the mail to find they sent me a cast signed playbill from opening night! I am so happy to be able to add that to my collection. I also recently send some stuff to Alice Ripley and I have gotten confirmation that Alice has received them and will sign everything for me.

They don't want people just getting signed stuff back for free, and people just turning around and making money off of it on eBay. This seems to be more standard when a name is attached to a show that creates a secondary market for these (Idina, NPH, Cranston, etc.)

As you noted yourself, getting a signed playbill is never guaranteed at the show (although from what I hear, he is very gracious and giving of his time), but this means you always have a way to get one if you didn't catch him or didn't want to wait.

I also imagine this reduces the number of Playbills he has to sign regularly, potentially for people who didn't even attend the show.

Plus, if you typically donate to BC/EFA to get signed stuff... then what's the resistance?

I need some help identifying the signatures on my playbill. I only know two of them: Nic Rouleau (by the knee) and AJ Holmes (by the shoes). I know that Syesha Mercado and Derrick Williams came to sign so they’re on here somewhere. Please let me know if you guys can identify anyone else’s.

Thanks :)

I think Derrick Williams is at the sole of the shoe.
