Christine Chenoweth? Was she the other Edie understudy no one knew about, or are you referring to Christine Ebersole?

Oh gosh...I am sorry. I wasn't paying attention to what I wrote. Christine Ebersole, of course is what I meant. Sorry again.

As long as you didn't address your mail to Christine Chenoweth :) ! There's no such Broadway actor that I know of!

haha! No I did not :)
There is only one Christine Chenowith I know but she is not an actress. Small "slip of the fingers", I guess.

I am still waiting on 5 more:
-Cast of The Phantom of the Opera
-Cast of The Book of Mormon
-Laura Michelle Kelly
-Ashley Brown
-Patti Lupone

I received my DVD cover from Peter Pan back, signed and inscribed by Paul Schoeffler (with a very nice note). He also signed a Rock of Ages Playbill for me.

He's been one of my favorite actors for years. I'm very happy with this success!

After seeing PROMISES,PROMISES and falling in love with Marian Mercer, I wrote her a fan letter and asked for a couple of feathers from her owl coat (the idea of an owl coat being the funniest thing to cross my mind at the time). Well, she sent me an entire swatch. The feathers were glued to black teardrop-shaped swatches of black felt attached to (I suppose) some sort of raincoat. I had that swatch for years.

Today, I got fanmail back from Sierra Boggess. She actually sent me the Little Mermaid postcard thing she use to send out! Love it!

I got it back within 4 days of mailing it.

Yesterday, I got a signed picture from Teal Wicks as Elphaba. Took about 3 months.

Today, I got a cast signed playbill from the tour of Shrek the Musical. Took probably 6-7 months.

I never got my six CD covers back from Joel Grey that I mailed to him back in March. Too bad, because many of them were already signed by other cast members. Guess I'll have to rebuy them.

I got a signed photo from Katie Rose Clarke(Wicked)two months after I wrote to her. I also got a signed photo, head shot actually, from Sutton Foster....ONE WEEK after I mailed the fan letter & request! That's like a record-I've never gotten a response that quickly. On the other hand Idina Menzel took 2 years. I'm not kidding.
Does Sutton really have that much time on her hands,or was she having a slow fan mail week? She did write my first name on it.
I'm new here,so hi everybody.

I'm contemplating sending my KenCen Follies window card to Jan Maxwell to sign, has anyone had success with her?
What a colossal piece of crap! It'll probably run for years.

I sent something to Bernadette exactly a week ago. Haven't heard back yet, but I know she is excellent with responding, since I mailed to her twice during her run in NIGHT MUSIC. I also sent with it a donation to Barc Shelter, per her request of $10 per autograph.

I got a HUGE SURPRISE MAIL today! Right after Shrek closed, I sent Sutton Foster a Shrek playbill, my Drowsy Chaperone cd insert, and a request for an autographed photo to her fan-mail address on her website. Well, after a year and a half, I finally got all 3 signed and personalized from her. I am sooo happy right now!

Yep. A year and a half. I really started thinking last August I was never gonna receive it back, so it came as a total shock when I got them today.

How long do you guys give it before you consider an attempt a 'failure'? I sent to Book of Mormon about two months ago and still haven't gotten anything back. I know they're busy, so it's not like I'm bothered over it (I also sent Lin-Manuel Miranda an opening night ItH Playbill during his final run, but figured it got lost in the mega snowstorm). I'm just curious.
