Bored

I am SO bored right now...I had to get up early (8-something am) and now I don't feel like going back to bed. And I don't have to work today so I'm sitting here being lazy and have nothing to do (actually, there is stuff I should be doing, but I feel like procrastinating further). Please help me get rid of my boredom.

That's a good idea...I'm always thinking that I want to do something to help people (through charities and whatnot), but I never really know where to start.

Well, I didn't end up doing it because I was being incredibly lazy and sat at the computer for half the day...I may try to do it another day though.

When I said another day I meant maybe tomorrow or something...there's no need to attack me. I just made a post saying that I'm bored because this is the off-topic board, so I can post whatever I want. I never said I wasn't going to do anything; maybe you should be helping out too.

Here's something for you if you're bored:

Eden has the stage presence of a banana. Except at least a banana is vibrant and will stand out on a dark stage.

So, i guess eden has less stage presence. But in her defense, she is more interesting than Shoshana...

Although, I can't tell if it's interesting or if the headache inducing scream keeps me focused...

I have and I will continue to do the same tomorrow and the day after that. But I must day that I am unable to consider myself bored as I continue to help those who need my prayers and positive energy and financial support (no matter the amount).

Findingnamo, I suggest that if you don't care for my post then you shouldn't respond to it. When posts aren't responded to they go to older pages and eventually get lost. Thenardier, really, that wasn't necessary. This has been a pleasure everyone, but i'm going to bed now.

Actually, I'm glad I came across this thread. Have a couple of things to do tomorrow, prob hanging out w/ a friend at night, but I think I should try to do some collecting. I'm 19, so I'm cool going door to door in my neighborhood, but have really never done that before, anyone have any helpful hints on what might help me to be more successful?

Sarah, it is a tad bit insensitive to complain about being bored, while the rest of the off-topic board is riled up with concern over the suffering of thousands of Americans who, like you, having nothing to do -- but who, unlike you, are starving on feces-infested streets or stranded on rooftops surrounded by eight feet of water in sweltering heat, while they wait for either death or rescue.
