Yesterday, my girls were watching PBS as usual, and on the program ZOOM!, one of the kids on the show went to Wicked and got an awesome backstage tour!

He interviewed George Hearn who showed him behind the Wizards head - that was unbelievable - and went through wardrobe and wigs and met Jennifer as she jumped into her bubble. He also interviewed Idina as she was getting into her green makeup and she told him she thinks she looks cute in her green makeup. She was so sweet! He also tried on a monkey prosthetic and they showed lots of great clips from the show.

It was very fascinating and a lot of fun!

Idina, or Shoshana?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Yes, and I wrote "Idina, or Shoshana?"

Depends when this was recorded. Perhaps DivaMommy made a mistake. Perhaps not.

For the record, I have always loved Zoom! I could launch into the theme song right now, but I will spare you that...

That shows been running for some time, it pretty amazing. When I first saw it I didn't think it'd last.

Does anyone (somehow) have it? I bet you can order episodes of Zoom somewhere. PBS usually does that.

DivaMommy...where do you live abouts.???
PBS is a local station in my town.....and zoom is filmed locally. I didn't know it was a national show!

Was that a fat joke?

Be careful with the Wicked posts guys...people might come and have idiotic comments to make themselves feel better about their meaningless lives.

Or did that just happen to me?

Thats pretty neat. Zoom is a cute show.

It's been running for a little over one season. You make it sound like Cats or something.

I ADORED Zoom! when I was younger. Not such a big fan of the newer cast (of Zoom) myself, but I wish I could have seen this episode.

It was most definetely Idina - I know my divas!

It was also at the time when Joey McIntire was in the show, but they didn't interview him.

I am in Las Vegas and Zoom is on everyday. It's definetly not my favorite show that's on PBS, but they do have some fun stuff like that occasionally.

The best place to look for info on ZOOM is pbskids.org.

It was just on again today. 4o'clock.
Pretty good. I don't know if it was on PBS today but it was on PBSK which is basically a second PBS channel for Direct Tv

I used to love that show! I watched it every day at 3:30 or whatever time it was on.
