What Can I Bring Into a Theatre#1

I'm seeing Great Comet in a couple days and I'm planning to stagedoor afterwards. However, instead of just having them sign my playbill I wanted my copy of War & Peace signed. Will I be allowed to bring this into the theatre? Will the actors sign something other than a playbill?

That's a cute idea! I've brought books into theatres dozens of times, you'll be fine.

I'm hoping that Dave Malloy stage doors and is willing to sign the CD booklets (both OC and OBC) when I see him at the end of August.

We've done this a few times. My daughter has a Matilda signed by the cast and I've got a fun home sighed by that cast. 


 

I've seen thinking of bringing a hardcover W&P, but it would have to be the three volume tonedtheright translation and not be HUUUUGE...

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Judging by what others have mentioned, you can bring Popeye's Louisiana Chicken, 99 Cent Pizza from the W. 41st Street location, tuna on rye from any 8th Avenue deli, plus a few other yummies around Broadway.
