Grateful Dead Musical off-Bway

According to a casting notice an untitled musical comedy using the Grateful Dead's music is coming to the Minetta Lane in Oct. 

"The currently untitled new musical comedy, featuring the music and lyrics of Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter (of The Grateful Dead), is a semi-fantastical and immersive Americana tale of the Jones family in 1920’s Cumberland, Maryland, as they con, swindle and gamble their way into riches." 

Can't say I know their music, but could be cool.

Looks like they may have been re-working Cumberland Blues. It did not do well in San Francisco 9 years ago..

Yeah I'm not sure I understand the "comedy" part of it.
