Best Places to See Live Music After a Broadway Show? |

I'd say check out the normal venues: Blue Note, 54 Below, Birdland. They're all in the area. I mean the Monster/Marie's Crisis are piano bars, but not really 'cabaret.'
Food wise: Most everything will be open.
I've actually done a cool Jazz club in the Village before a show. Smalls does some afternoon jam sessions on either Friday or Saturday afternoon, I think around 4-7. It's tiny, cool as can be, and so entertaining as musicians swap in and out of the band and decide what to play. I'm sure they have a good schedule late as well. And it's not far at all from mid town.
