Wicked in person lottery#1

Has anyone been recently. And how does it work exactly-if the show is 7pm today do I arrive about 3pm?

I have seen Wicked 3 times so can't really justify purchase a full price ticket. But my time is kind if flexible so I could certainly go to the in person one-I just have never done it before so any suggestions/advice/etc is appreciated.

as the rules clearly states, they start taking names 2 and a half hours before curtain and start the drawing process 2 hours before curtain. The lottery is quite easy to win but there's still a great possibility that you won't win so if you're only in town for today I wouldn't suggest getting your hope pinned solely on the lottery! Good luck and enjoy the show :)

Thank you! I am actually here for another 2 weeks. Today is a free day and I am not far from the theater so figured I'd try. I LOVE Wicked and could have bought a ticket but having seen it in NYC, London and Orlando it's hard to justify spending 200 dollars to see again. But if I happened to win the lottery-that cost I can justify! Going to give it a try!
