A Doll's House rush for Laurie Metcalf's final week

Can anyone report what the rush has been like last week and what it might be starting tomorrow or Tuesday? I really would like to rush the show before the current cast leaves, as there are no discounts anywhere and it's not on TDF anymore. I wonder if they're actually even going to do a rush policy this week. Does anybody know?

I rushed on Friday and got there about 9:55am. There were about 10 people in front of me. I was able to get 2 tickets. Orchestra row r stage 9 and 11.

I know they were still giving out after me, at least to the 2 people who were behind me.

How can someone know what tomorrow will be like?! Especially with all the procrastinators going this week.

I attempted to go this morning. Didn't get there until about 10.20 but guy at the box office said it was unlikely there will be any rush tickets for this week. He said next week should be okay but, obviously that's sans Laurie + Chris.

anyone have tkts experience?

FWIW I returned to the box office to book a regular discounted ticket for Sunday and I overheard the BO man across from me that it isn't going to be on TDF at all this week.

Just looked on telecharge for this Sunday and tickets that are usually rush are being sold for $147.

It is Wednesday (two show day) and there are 3 people in line at 7:30 am. At 9 am there are 11 people.

I just went by the theatre and asked about Rush for the weekend. There were 6 tickets for today and the past couple of days they have not had any. If they were to have any the rest of the weekend, it'd be no more than 10. Since this was THE show I wanted to see this trip, I jumped at the $59 mezz seat available.

I went last thursday and got front row center orchestra (the point center corner with the diagonal seats). It was $150 for 2, so even if they likely dont have rush; the tkts will likely have it be 50% as it has been for the whole run. They may kick it to 40% or not have it all for these upcoming days though.

I don't think they specifically hold tickets for rush, so that's kind of the idea. Rush is the tickets that didn't sell yet...

I think it depends on the theater/production, but A Doll's House rush annoument was very specific, first row. Same as The Glass Menagerie.

If you go by the logic that rush are seats that didn't sell, that would mean you could get a premium seat for rush prices...

^^ not JUST front row though. When I rushed I got Seats halfway back in the orchestra. I think haterobics is right.

The front row rush policy was the policy during previews. When they announced they'd still be doing rush after opening I don't remember it being announced as still front row.
