Getting ready for vacation and would like to bring a couple reads with me for the beach. I'm looking for Broadway bios or something like Diary of a Mad Playwright. Fun, light, juicy. Thanks!

Not precisely a Broadway bio but Baldwin's book Nevertheless is a pretty good read.

I realize she is more known for her movies, but Anna Kendrick's Scrappy Little Nobody was entertaining to read.

U might have already read them but the Arthur Laurents books Original |Story and The Rest of the Story are pretty dishy.

Thanks for the tips. Just bought Original Story on Abe Books for $3.74 (free shipping) Hardcover, first edition.
