With preview dates set to a tentative March 10-12 next year, does anyone have a guess of which theatre it will take?

Walter Kerr?

Do we know which theatre organization they're partnering with? Nederlander? If so, the Neil Simon would be a good fit, with Cats closing in December.

EDIT: Looks like Stuart Thompson is producing, so that makes me think it'll be a Shubert house.

Without seeing the show, Jacobs or Nederlander would probably fit the bill

I think they intend to announce today, so I don't feel bad spilling the beans.

Angels in America is going into the Neil Simon so it won't be going there.

Angels was supposedly in talks with Jujamcyn, perhaps the Hirschfeld for them?

Mean Girls I'd say Neil Simon or Jacobs.

My money is on the Hirschfeld.

Er why would Hirschfeld close when Kinky Boots is still making good money? Or rather, it will once Urie fans are done with school.

Theatres that are currently dark or will be tenantless, come spring 2018: American Airlines, Booth, Cort, Golden, Hudson, Neil Simon, Studio 54, Walter Kerr.

Theatres that will questionably be vacant by spring 2018: August Wilson, Brooks Atkinson, Hirschfeld, Jacobs, Longacre, Lunt-Fontanne, Lyceum, Nederlander, Neil Simon, Shubert.

My bet on Mean Girls is the Neil Simon.

After Urie's contract is up, their grosses won't be nearly as high unless another star comes in

Mean Girls will stay away from the monstrosity that is the Neil Simon if they know what's good for them.

@GreasedLightning Why do you call the Neil Simon a monstrosity?

It's a beautiful theater, but it hasn't had a hit since Hairspray in 2002... unless you count All The Way in 2014. I think there's a reason for that.

Yes of course there's a reason. The shows/productions just weren't very good.

I mean imagine Mean Girls would be better in something like the Jacobs. It's a smaller house, which would allow the comedy to be played simpler. And I can't imagine it will be a huge production. But I suppose we won't know.

My bet is the Hirschfeld, but if Kinky Boots stays open past January, then the Wilson.

Isn't the new rumor Angels in America is going into the August Wilson? I think the Neil Simon is where it's headed, because isn't it playing a Nederlander theatre out of town?

I believe Angels in America is going to the Neil Simon - Brian1973 pointed it out here and I've heard the same elsewhere.

Neil Simon - ANGELS IN AMERICA. (Is that a continuation of the Eugene trilogy??)

I have heard MEAN GIRLS is going to one of the large musical houses owned by the Shuberts.

I wonder what ends up at the August Wilson and the Hirschfeld if those shows close in January. (I also wonder where CAROUSEL will end up, though I imagine that would be to another large-musical-Shubert venue?)
