DC, MD Attorneys General to File Suit Against Trump

By now many of you are likely aware of the suit.  What hasn't been widely reported though is that the attorneys general will attempt to gain access to Trump's income tax returns in the discovery process.  WaPo broke the news and went into details but there's a pay wall.  The Hill's brief coverage is available at the following link.

Seems that the NY Times has lifted the pay wall on its coverage.  The article at the link below is a must-read.  I had no idea that the Maryland and DC governments were legally considered co-equal sovereigns with the POTUS.
