If you could pick one category and guarantee a win on Sunday night, because you think they 100% deserve it, who and for what would it be?

Mine would 110% be for Rachel Chavkin getting Best Direction of a Musical.

Chavkin all the way. And Metcalf for the Play categories.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Tough but great question! Either Comet for Best Musical or Karl for Best Actor.

Ben Platt. I found the show had flaws, although I enjoyed it a lot. But Platt's performance really moved me and impressed me.

Nope, haha. Maybe I should rephrase: I also think Ben Platt should (and will) win a Tony on Sunday. In my dream world, though, he and Karl tie. Karl is just giving such a Tony-deserving performance. So my "guaranteeing" Karl's  win would be in addition to Platt's If You Could Guarantee One Win...

Hmmm......Lucas Steele for Featured.

And for a second choice: Comet for Musical as well.

Pasek & Paul for score. I know several here will vehemently disagree, but I just can't stop listening to it, and hear new things every time. I know it's one that I'll continue to love over the years. I think they rightfully deserve the Tony.

I worry about Malloy on Sunday... Book and Score are, as we all know, looking like very stiff competition, and Orchestrations could well go to Dolly!

I feel 99.9% certain that Ben Platt will win Best Actor in a Musical.

I think it's unfortunate that Andy Karl is up against Mr. Platt this season because he's doing a brilliant job in Groundhog Day, but I believe the sustained emotional intensity of the Evan character is going to get more votes than the varied (from comedic to touching) nature of the Phil character's arc.

I'd guarantee Dave Malloy for Best Score.  Alas, it looks like it won't be happening.

If I could pick one pick and 100% guarantee it, it would be Stephanie J. Block for FALSETTOS.

FALSETTOS for Best Revival

I'm a little confused by the question. Is it a guarantee of what I think will win, as in, "If you had to bet a million dollars on something or someone winning a Tony award, who or what would it be?"

Or is it: If you could guarantee a win by a person or show because you think they/it really deserves the honor, what would you pick?"

If it's the first, there are many heavy favorites.Hello, Dolly in Best Revival, Bette Midler, Kevin Kline, and almost certainly Ben Platt.

If it's the latter, that's a more interesting question, even though - in my case - I certainly haven't seen everything nominated so I don't feel qualified. But I can't help feeling it would be good for Broadway if Rachel Chavkin won Best Director and Dave Malloy didn't go home empty-handed for Great Comet. I'm not mentioning some of the technical categories, because it will probably win those and most people don't care much about them.

Chavkin's work as a director in Great Comet is truly extraordinary, and I hope it's rewarded with a Tony. Malloy created the whole thing, and while I know people are divided on the score, there was something thrilling about the ambition and thought he put into that show. I hope they win, even if Malloy only gets orchestrations. That would be good for Broadway, even if most of the awards are dominated by Dear Evan Hansen, Hello, Dolly, and Come From Away.

I'm confident Ben will win, so I'd say Rachel Bay Jones. I absolutely loved her performance and truly think out of the two frontrunners, she is most deserving. I love Jenn, but what Rachel does is breathtaking and emotionally draining. If Jenn won however, I wouldn't be mad.
