I was hoping Claire would start talking to the camera, too (her opening speech was such a tease). Otherwise, I enjoyed the first episode, which is all I've watched so far. Didn't get the part about the waterfalls, though.
I watched the season 5 finale last night. Struck me as a transition season that sets the stage for season 6 which promises to be explosive. I wasn't disappointed by S5 but at times it slipped into Shonda Rhimes territory which arguably serves other series better than HOC. Slightly disappointed that a few of the more interesting characters got the chop instead of a couple of the regulars who've become dead weight. Loved how S5 focused on the actions and motives of the handlers in the WH. Campbell Scott & Patricia Clarkson are welcome additions to the cast.
And...Reed Birney as VP Donald Blythe threw a barb at Claire that had viewers across the globe high-fiving in unison. It was EPIC!
