Hi! I apologize if this info is somewhere else, but I have a few questions about the stage door for this show. I saw info on Sally Field and there are videos of her signing after the show, but I wondered about Finn Wittrock and if he comes out and signs/poses for pictures. I read in a thread that the stage door people said that no selfies were allowed but I noticed in the stage door videos with Sally, she was posing for them. Can anybody share their recent experiances with the stage door for this show? Thanks in Advance!!

Hey, when I saw it, Sally was the only one who wasn't posing for pictures. Finn Wittrock and Joe Martello both did, and I'm sure Madison would have, but I don't think anyone asked.

Thanks for the info! How long ago did you see it? How crazy crowded was it?

Was having dinner at Cafe Un Deux Trois next to the Belasco the other night. Could see the stage door from my table--the entire cast was out signing autographs and taking photos.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

I saw it last months, so it seems my info is slightly out of date. Glad to hear she's posing for photos now!

I saw it Friday night.  Huge stage door crowd.  Sally signed for anyone who wanted their playbill signed.  She did take selfies with a few people.  I just took pictures of her signing .  I saw her sign other items, but she refused the guy next to me.  He did not have a playbill, so maybe she signed other items if you saw the show.  I offered him mine, but I think he was nervous to take it (in front of her)   Finn posed for my picture.  Alot of reaching over by people and pushing.  I was happy to get out of there.

Sally signed my Steel Magnolias laserdisc and said "Oh, you boys and this movie".

Went to the stage door for the closing performance today. I had already seen the show, but was unable to stage door it when I saw it. Anyway, as we were standing, waiting for the show to let out- Finn walked out one theatre exit, passed by us and went thru the stage door. LOL. This was before the show was over or the curtain call. He winked as he walked by but you could tell he was in the "Zone".

Anyway, Joe Mantello came out first and was lots of fun- he spent a lot of time signing for everyone and made sure everyone got him. Finn Came out and was super cute and cool. he took a lot of time talking and posing and signing for all who asked. When he saw me, he said "We meet again" LOL. Sally took about and hour and a half to come out but she signed for everyone and really made sure that she got everyone in the crowd. whenever someone asked for as photo, her security person said no, but she told them to face her and pose saying "Turn your head in my direction" CLICK "Neat little trick"  and posed as she signed.

The stage door was over flowing because of how short the barriers are. people were lining up in the streets and refusing to move, it was absolutely ridiculous. People were all over the place, and security was much more patient then they had to be, as the public was just not moving even when they were told that a car was going to need to park where they were standing. One lady was actually standing in front of the barricade instead of behind it and resisted moving till security had to get really serious- she had a lot of other people would not move until they really got serious and forced them to move.
