Has anybody seen this yet? I'm very interested in going, but tickets are way pricey. Don't want to spend so much money unless I can get some confirmation it's decent.

I saw this tonight and found it very enjoyable. As with a lot of these farcical shows, there's a lot of "throw all the jokes we have at the wall to see what sticks," which means that naturally the jokes land with varying degrees of success. But even if some of the jokes fall flat, they put together a tight, high-energy production with an EXCELLENT cast. The ensemble has no weak links. Michael Urie and Mary Testa are both their usual hilarious selves, and Michael McGrath's dry wit and exquisite timing are always a joy to watch. In fact, the whole cast had great comic timing throughout, which gave life to some of the weaker jokes up, and made the good jokes really soar. There is some social commentary to the plot, but for the most part this is a fluffy evening at the theatre. Just for the sake of some context: I'd say this is not as good as Play That Goes Wrong, but better than Present Laughter, but that's just me.

I saw this Saturday night and Loved it. I haven't laughed as much in a long while. I kept waiting for a lull in the action and the humor, but that didn't happen. Michael Urie is incredible. I have seen him in a couple of shows and I knew he was amazing, but he outdid himself here. I also enjoyed Michael McGrath as the mayor and Arnie Burton in a dual role. But the entire cast is very strong.

The show is very relevant now, considering all the goings-on in Washington. Don't miss this one!
