That's a pretty good cast so far! I thought the same thing about Donna casting (re: hoping for a bigger name), but I expect Nettles to go really far in her career. Not unlike Sara Bareilles who played Ariel in Hollywood Bowl's The Little Mermaid.

Nettles was wonderful in Chicago on Broadway, and she IS a big name in the music industry.

Thanks for the vid clip of CC singing - WOW!!! I saw her as Donna many times. She was brilliant and stopped the show nightly when she sang that song.

I almost forgot that Carolee Carmello was my Donna when I saw Mamma Mia! It was a surprise 16th birthday gift from my dad and stepmom. We loved it. I can't believe that was nearly 8 years ago!
