Tonight FOX"s Empire offered some witty bon mots as they usually do, courtesy of the silver tongued "Cookie" (Taraji P. Henson).

First, when one of her sons makes the famous "When they go low, we go high" remark, Cookie wastes no time calling out the Michelle Obama line.

Next, long story short, the hip hop soap opera story had Cookie being the reason for an ill fated romance to Angelo DuBois (Taye Diggs). Phylicia Rashad plays Diana DuBois, (Taye Diggs domineering rich bitch mother). Words fly between Cookie and Diana over ruining her son, and how she will destroy Cookie and the "Lyon" family; typical soap opera situation and jargon...and then..

the fabulous Cookie turns and tells her to "get her damn fake ass Clair Huxtable act" out of her face.

It ain't Shakespeare but it's fun at times.
