I was just watching some acceptance speeches from the last Tony Awards. It was a day where we all got together against the forces of evil. Jessica Lange managed to feel happiness even on such a sad day, when a Muslim terrorist had attacked a nightclub in Orlando. Lin-Manuel Miranda said that "we live through times when hate and fear seem stronger," but we have to fight against it.

I'm asking for your support, vague at this point, in a movement to remove Donald Trump from power. But I think that's what we have to do - PERIOD. Are you with me, or not? Do you support the stale institutions that brought him to power, or do you want to forge something new and positive for us and our posterity? That's the choice we have to make. What do you think?

Well, that was a bit of tipsy posting last night. I won't erase it since South Florida was kind enough to respond and it does convey my feelings about Trump. Unfortunately, though, I'm not up to leading this movement at the moment. :)

Tsk, tsk.  DWP, I've never done that.

A political revolution birthed out of a message board? Stranger things have happened. Why not.

American history shows that significant change generally does not occur without violence.  We are in a unique situation where an unqualified adult baby was given the keys to the kingdom by a mob of bigoted idiots that celebrate ignorance.  I think most people are here are with you, but it will mean little else other than we generally agree.
