Pricing a ticket at $249 doesn't mean you sold one at that price.

Rough week for (half of) Broadway.

Is A DOLL'S HOUSE even going to make it to opening night? lol...

I cringed at Doll's House's numbers. Like, literally cringed.

Well, Doll's House has done.... zero marketing and doesn't have a big marquee name. Its running costs must be extremely low, which helps.

It's gaining good word of mouth (seriously, everyone I know who has seen it has adored it) and should be buoyed by reviews and Tony nominations.

This may be a silly question, but how exactly is the potential gross calculated?

Consistently impressed with War Paint. They're gonna have a nice run over there at the Nederlander. I smell Tony noms for them.

All tix selling at their listed price without discounts, etc., I'd imagine.

That sounds about right, haterobics! Thanks!

Also, I wonder if Sweat can get a boost next weekend on account of winning the Pultizer prize.

BWW doesn't update the figures regularly, though, so for example, Waitress is now charging $10 more for every seat, and premiums went up to $400, but on the grosses, the info is still the same as when Jessie was in the show.

I just noticed for the past few weeks Hamilton gross potential keep alternating between $2.9 million an $2.6 million. Does anyone know why? Normally the gross potential tend to be a stable number until Tony nominations or until Tony awards or the new year.

also, I recall Waitress selling $400 tickets last week yet the top ticket listed in the report is $270. I'm guessing no one bought any of those $40@ tix last week?

Damn you Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Also, "A Doll's House-Part 2" Twitter account has 1 tweet. So yeah their marketing is non-existent.

My guess, weeks where it's 2.6 million include eduham performances

I almost feel like, if you compare the advance to the early reports, Chocolate Factory is throwing down the biggest scam deal on Broadway. Shenanigans!

I know everyone who's seen it hates Charlie And Chocolate Something but I really really really want a new Jackie Hoffman vlog.

Really amazed at how well A Bronx Tale continues to do despite no real buzz or critical acclaim.

Numbers don't look good for Amelie and Groundhog Day.

Maybe Alan Menken is getting crowds? He's definitely a notable name on Broadway. Either way, always good to see a nice little surprise hit on Broadway.

Wow. I realize that Groundhog Day has been getting somewhat mixed reviews here, but nothing like the universal drubbing that Charlie is getting, and yet Charlie is grossing in the 900k range while GHD struggles at 5-600k. Depressing.

Oh, and Indecent and A Doll's House P2 - those averages....

^thats probably cuz Charlie has more name appeal than Groundhog Day.

Also does not include premium ticket cost or standing room potential
