Directing A Middle School Show

Hello Everyone,

Over the summer I will be directing a middle school show, except there are some weird stipulations.

It is an all boys school so I would need a show that has no girls if possible but maybe 1-3 at the most. It would have to focus on the guys though.

I am fine cutting apart a different show, I would need the backing tracks though. 

If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them.

Seussical maybe?  You could maybe get away with 3 girls (Mazie, Gertrude and Mom??)  But I don't know what you'd do about the bird girls.  1776?  Damn Yankees?  

 

What about a ply rather than a musical?  39 steps?  History Boys?
