I just randomly logged onto the Hudson Theatre website this afternoon and noticed 1984 tickets had quietly gone on sale .... I don't think it has been officially announced (I apologize if I am wrong) and I wanted to give you guys a heads up in case you were interested in getting tickets. Just like Sunday In The Park, row C orchestra is half the price of row D so I got row C tickets.
Tickets are also on sale through telecharge, but just like Sunday In The Park, the seat offerings are much better on the Hudson Theatre website.
Also, the summer schedule is interesting ... there are a bunch of Friday and Saturday matinees at 5 pm instead of 2 pm so if you are visiting NYC from out of town, you could see three shows at 2 pm, 5pm (1984) and 8 pm in one day .... I love that!
Thanks for posting! Just bought two tickets for June!
I just want to point out that folks should be careful to buy the correct dates when using the Hudson website. Because the company is British, I guess, they have Sunday at the end of the row on the calendar, not at the beginning of the row, like we Yanks do.
Does anyone know if the tickets would be on sale at the box office also or is that once Sunday closes? Not sure how it works with a current and upcoming show.
