Thought the first hour was a bit lackluster, but damn... that second tribal council!!!

Loved hearing Sandra sound off at the end of that second tribal!  It'll probably get her in trouble, but it was fun to hear.  What a great blindside.  There was no indication that the vote was going to be "unonymous".

They should really put term-limits on these contestants.  I thought they used "game-changers" quite loosely in selecting the returnees.

That's always been the case with any season featuring returning contestants.  Oddly, this season features very few I dislike (though I admit there are a couple I don't remember that well) and one of them was already voted off last night.  Clearly, Caleb was never a "game-changer" as he was medically evacuated his season 9 days into the game and simply promised a spot to return, which is why I found it odd there was discussion about him being targeted as a threat.

But as far as I'm concerned, Cirie and Sandra can return as many times as they like.  I'll always enjoy watching them.  I'm never happy to see Ozzy, however.

If Sandra finds a way to engineer a third title for herself, she really is the "Queen" of Survivor.

And Cirie is probably my favorite Survivor ever, so any return by her is welcome.

I love Sandra. She had me cracking up to no end last night. Malcolm keeps getting hotter and I feel like Aubrey was a denied a win on her season, so I'm glad she's back.

Lots of fun watching Tony and Samdra go head to head. They REALLY must not like Ciera to vote her off before a winner and a two-time winner.

Cirie is great. I mostly liked Tai in his season, but I found him a little annoying last night. We didn't really get to spend time with the winning tribe much.

Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

Whizzer - Agree with you on everything (especially regarding Aubry being robbed of a win...same as Hannah last season) but Malcolm.  To me, Malcolm's like Ozzie 2.0 and his ego deflects any and all potential hotness.

adamgreer - Cirie is my all-time favorite as well, but I fear she won't last long.  EVERYONE is aware of how brilliant she is at both strategy and social, which is why she's never been able to win.  Which goes to show how winning challenges and finding idols aren't necessary to be considered a massive threat or in determining a winner.

Which reminds me...

there was some really fancy editing going on where we missed out when literally everyone was on board with voting Tony.  All that talk about voting the weakest to keep the tribe physically strong for challenges was mostly among those Tony considered allies.  It definitely made for a great blindside for Tony, but also for us as I don't recall anything indicating a "unonymous" vote.  And Tony voted for AUBRY after all that plotting against Sandra?!?!  I'll have to watch again as I feel like maybe I got distracted and missed a big chunk of the episode.

Double HA!

Was not at all sorry to see Ciera voted off.  Agree with you about Aubrey.

I'm super excited for this season - and I'm not generally a fan of having an entire cast of former players.

Yeah, if Cirie ever makes it to a jury vote it's game over. They'd be dumb to keep her around, but stranger things have happened on this show.

Namely, Russell Hantz in two finales and cast for a third season.  UGH.

I'm still in amazement at what went down at that tribal. Good stuff!  I have to watch again to see what I missed concerning JT's supposed involvement.

It was a little difficult to figure out exactly what happened, but I think JT just screwed himself over. It sounded like he told Culpepper his tribe would be voting for Sierra, assuming Culpepper and crew would vote off Sandra. He appeared to be blindsided by Malcolm's ousting, and I'm sure he was mad as Malcolm was his closest ally on the tribe. JT's betrayal would only be worth it to him if Sandra went home, but she's around, Malcolm's gone and he probably feels betrayed by Culpepper too.

If this pack of fools is stupid enough to bring Sandra to final tribal she deserves to win and then they should cancel the series.

I'd not do well on this show, since I'd always want to get rid of the annoying ones like Sandra ahead of any superior gameplay.

If this pack of fools is stupid enough to bring Sandra to final tribal she deserves to win and then they should cancel the series.

If that happened, 1) Jeff would never consider canceling the series and 2) I would probably wet my pants.  One of the reasons I love Sandra so much is that she can be herself with reckless abandon, be outrageously open with her opinions, be a huge strategic threat and STILL manage to survive and win the whole damn thing.  I was like, "If they're smart, they'll get rid of Sandra", which seemed like exactly what was originally going to happen, but at the same time, I was like, "PLEASE DON'T GET RID OF SANDRA!" because I find her bold personality such a breath of fresh air and endlessly entertaining.

The idea of that tribal was really fascinating, but the way it went down was EPIC.  The out-of-control mayhem was so much fun to watch, especially with Jeff completely at a loss and doing what he does best (and made the show a huge success); he just sat back and let it all happen.

All hail the Queen! Buh-bye JT.

Debbie continues to prove that she is nuttier than that PB&J that she didn't get to eat.

Oh, that was fun to watch.  The way Sandra exploited the tension between JT and Michaela and orchestrated his blindside should be a reminder to the rest of the tribe just exactly how well she plays the game.  She can piss off everyone in the tribe, boast and brag, never win immunity, and still manipulate her way to win it all.  AND SOMEHOW...I never get annoyed by her behavior.

And once again, Debbie proves exactly why she's so unlikable.  GAWD.  I don't remember the last time I saw someone so aggressively passive-aggressive.  GAWD.  How long ago did she take gymnastics?  Was it before her MI-6 Stealth Assassin Operative Training or after her Sanskrit Sign Language for the Blind Teacher Certification?  GAWD.  She's like the white lady version of Phillip Sheppard in the form of a terminally ill Yertle the Turtle.  GAWD.

Another classic episode last night.  Despite her craziness, I was kinda happy that Debbie got exiled to luxury.

During tribal, I was very shocked that Tai didn't use one of his idols.  Guess there was a lot of campaigning that wasn't shown.
