MIX TAPE from AVENUE Q

[Here I Am]

 Hi all! On Friday evening I am taking my boyfriend to see his first professional New York show. He loves the music from Avenue Q and I want to surprise him with the same exact mix tape that Princeton gives Kate Monster  during the show. I've downloaded all of the songs, but I can't figure out if the song stuck on you is the Lionel Richie version or the Elvis Presley version. 

 

 I know they sold these CDs as a joke at the Broadway fleamarket several years back. Does anyone know for sure which version she gives him? Odd question, I know. But please humor me Lol.

Aren't mix-cds still called mix tapes, and thereby becoming an anachronism?  Kate Monster has been holding up a CD and not a tape for years now, even though it was definitely a tape originally. Funny that there is no way to update it any further. And what would it be updated to? A playlist on Spotify or something like that?

Oh and based on the frame of reference for these characters I would guess the Lionel Ritchie version too.

If it helps any, all of the fan-made ones on Youtube and Spotify use the Lionel Richie one, so I'd assume that's what you want.

UPDATE: I e-mailed the composer Jeff Marx and it turns out that you were all correct, they did indeed mean the Lionel Richie version.

My boyfriend absolutely loved the show as well as the mix tape/CD!
