Just saw the Off Broadway production and loved it - so glad I caught the original cast before the excellent replacement cast comes in which I am also seeing.

Question about changes to the score.  Did I miss it or did they drop a verse in God That's Good about "fresh supplies?"  It is one of my favorites lines and for the life of me, I can't remember whether they included it?  Was the song shortened?  Love how they started the song in the lobby!

Also, is that a new song for the Beggar Woman when she comes to the barber shop towards the end?  I don't recall hearing that either in any of the other productions I've seen.  Has it ever been recorded?

The Beggar Woman's Lullaby was written for the London production and I believe it was not recorded until the Hearn/LuPone version. I believe it is not always included for fear of tipping the surprise too early.

There are numerous cuts in this production.

They did not include a few verses in "God That's Good" due to lack of an ensemble and also nothing about the delivery of Sweeney's barber chair. Just logical cuts to serve the action happening in the song better.

yes i missed those parts of god that's good. They should have had a projector with the lyrics and had the audience sing it.
