FYI

The New York Pops 2017 Gala is at Carnegie Hall on Monday, May 1st. If you loved the Lincoln Center Theater revivals of South Pacific and The King and I as much as I did, you may achieve closure on that night. The Honorees are Kelli O'Hara and Bartlett Sher and the guests artists Paulo Szot, Danny Burstein, Laura Osnes (of course), Ruthie Ann Miles and Jason Robert Brown. I don't remember what part Jason played.

Tickets go on sale at Carnegie Hall Box Office and Internet on Monday, March 6th, at 11:00 am. Subscribers and donors have been able to order tickets over the phone for quite a few weeks, and I don't know how much damage they have done to available seats.

A few people I hope will find this update useful.

To the performers already announced have been added Steven Pasquale, Mathew Broderick, Brian D'Arcy James, Adam Kantor and Chris Sullivan.

There are many $100 seats remaining in the Parquet (Orchestra). These seats include the last six or so rows of the center parquet, and all rows of the side Parquet from the seventh seat in of each row to the wall.

I don't know if it's customary for an honoree to perform, but I'm sure Kelli O'Hara would love to sing "One Second ..." from Bridges with Steven, especially with JRB there.
