As opening night is approaching, I was wondering if anyone has tried rushing for this recently? How early did you have to show up and how were the seats? I may try rushing next Sunday (I know they haven't announced a rush policy past March 8th). Thanks!

I rushed this last week Tuesday.  Showed up around 9:30-ish and was the 4th person in line.  No one else showed up when the box office opened at 10 so it was a super easy rush.  My seat was in the first row, center and the leg room was fantastic- I loved my seat.

That sounds like no one is interested in seeing the show...not a single person in line? I see it 50% on TKTS every day also.

Any reports on whether rush is continuing post-opening (and still in the first row)?

Just noticed that they had removed the rush policy on their Telecharge page. If anyone has stopped by the box office today or plan on doing so tomorrow, please let me know if there are any updates, as I may be in the city on Sunday. Thank you!

No one responded to the last inquiry about rush, but has anyone done this recently or have any clue as to whether it's still offered or whether or not it's still front row?? Thanks!

Was visiting the city last weekend and wanted to rush something for Saturday evening.  Stopped first at Come From Away around 10:15 and was probably 10th or so in line.  They didn't have partial view left and weren't yet selling SRO for the evening show.  Went over to the Hudson and inquired at Sunday - no luck there, so went to the Belasco as based on word here during previews, it was relatively easy.

There was no line but I didn't get there until probably close to 11.  Asked about rush for the evening and was told while he didn't think there were any left for the evening, he thought there might be some left for the matinee.  I already had The Price set for that slot, but he offered me a partial view for $30 which I took.

I put my ticket away already but it was three or four rows back, house left on the far end of the row.  I missed a few things that happened further upstage and part of the dinner table was obstructed, but overall didn't feel I missed anything terribly significant.  The bigger moment near the end occurred on the opposite side, so I had no issues seeing that.

Doesn't help to confirm whether they're still doing it now, they were at least doing it last weekend and I would imagine even if they are not that the partial view would be an option still.

I ended up rushing on Sunday (after opening) and was perhaps fifth in line 30 mins before the box office opened. I got a front row seat. Excellent view, and that may have made me enjoy and appreciate this production a lot!

Thank you so much! I plan to go tomorrow so I'm hoping to have the same experience. I really want to see this from the front row.

Has anyone rushed on a Sunday recently, or recently in general? How/where are the seats? Also, do you know if the show sets aside rush tickets, or is having rush tickets contingent on how sold the show is? My mom wants me to take her to see it on Mother's Day, and I know I'd probably have to get there earlier than usual since it's probably a popular show for moms (mine's a big fan of Sally Fields), but if they don't ALWAYS have rush I'll need to find another way to get tickets. (I'm only so paranoid about this because I did the Come From Away rush this past Sunday, assuming there'd be about twenty rush tickets, but there were only two or four because they sold the other seats, and then only ten standing room spots after that!)

I rushed on a Sunday when I went and I had friends who rushed last Sunday. They're still front row if you're one of the first 8 to get rush. I don't know where the rush seats are after that because I've always gotten front row. I don't think people line up very early. When I went last month, no one came after me until like 10:30 for a noon box office opening. But even if for some reason they don't have rush (though I'm pretty sure front row is set aside for rush for every performance) there should still be available seats as there were empty seats when I saw it. I'd say if you're there at 9:30 on a Sunday, you should get front row. I would also recommend calling the box office and asking them about their rush policy and how early people line up. Mother's Day could potentially be busy and you might want to get there earlier, but I'm not sure. And the view from the front row is great. It's a very minimal set and everything happens right in front of you so you don't miss anything. You're inches away from everything.

In the rush line now for the Sunday 3:00pm performance on Mother's Day and I'm the first, and only, person in line (10:00am). (Box office opens at 12:00pm)

"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage." I was front row seat 101 and so much happens within arms length, it was an excellent experience. Sad this show didn't catch on so well.
