Can we wait until it plays one performance at least?
Best Musical
Best Book
Best Score
Best Leading Actress for Christy
Best Featured Actor for John Bolton
Best Featured Actress for Caroline O'Connor
Best Featured Actress for Mary Beth Peil
Best Direction
Best Choreography
Best Costume Design
Best Lighting Design
I think chances are this show will miss out on a Best Musical nomination. It's just too strong a season and the material here isn't strong enough. This is a very conventional, if stylishly presented, show and there is so much original, thrilling material being presented this season. The performances are also nothing special, although she might get a nod for Best Actress- she's the best person in the cast. But the other principals aren't given the type of work to do that typically generates a lot of awards talk.
The design work is strong and it will likely pick up some attention in those categories.
The show hasn't even opened on Broadway yet, and already you don't think it's getting in for Best Musical? It might've improved since Hartford.

Hi! Why don't you complain directly to the person who asked for opinions? Mine is an informed one- I'm involved with this production currently and have seen most of the new shows in some form. I completely expect the show to have improved since Hartford. But it is still the most bloated of the new entries (aside from Charlie) and the other new shows are VERY STRONG- Comet, Hansen, Come From Away, etc... lots of great performances to contend with as well. In another season this show could stand out a little more, but this year is pretty tough.

It had opened and played an engagement. Of course, there may be changes, but I believe the OP is just asking for speculation based on the previous reception.
My guesses
DEH
CFA
Great Comet
Groundhog Day
possible 5th slot:
War Paint
I totally agree with these choices and would put money on it. Those four are truly so deserving of recognition.

Ramin Karimloo deserves some mention here. We really don't know what he's going to do for the Gleb role, but given he's got a Tony nomination under his belt already, HE may arguably be the "best person in the cast".
I think it would be a shame if Anastasia didn't win best choreography. At least in Hartford, the ballet was (or seemed to me, as I don't do ballet or know much about it) to be extremely intricate and advanced, and that type of dance isn't seen anywhere else on Broadway this season.

Alright then, let me address you AND OP - it hasn't even opened yet...
Thats cool you're involved with the production; then you should know better than anyone that you should wait till at least it's out of rehearsal at least lol
...y'all. It's March 3. The show doesn't even start performances for another 20 days, and Tony nominations come out in two months. This entire thread should've gone here: http://www.broadwayworld.com/board/readmessage.php?thread=1093840&page=1

Agreed. We don't need an additional thread for each show's Tony chances. But these predictions are no longer way too early. There are no announced musicals left this season that are opening cold in NYC. They have all been seen in one form or another.
