I rushed this today (Monday). I didn't get to the box office until 10:30 am. There was no line. I walked right up. Was offered Row A mezzanine house right. Amazing seats for $40. You should definitely try rushing it during your visit.

Thank you! I'm definitely going to try rushing, I've never done it before. Although my schedule reversed itself... I'll be visiting family in Boston earlier in the week & getting into NYC mid week now.
When i rushed I got Row W 4 seats off the center aisle...wasn't bad at all, especially since the person to the left of me paid over $100!
Rushed yesterday morning, arrived at 9 and there were only two ahead of us, however those two left so we ended up being first in line! Got front mezzanine row D, dead center, excellent seats! So all in all a very easy rush. And such a wonderful production! Great night.
Rushed today (5/22), arrived at 10:15am, definitely more than 20 people in front of me, and more joined after I did. I believe everyone got rush tickets, but they were mid-orchestra extreme sides.

I saw this last night (5/26) and stood in line at 9:30am and was about 6th in line. Tickets were great, row R on the side - saw 95% of everything happening on stage. Enjoyed the show better than expected - had low expectations after reading the NY Times review but I enjoyed the show 20 yrs ago and it was great hearing the songs again. Got teary eyed at the end too...
JonJon Briones' American Dream was a force to be reckoned with...
I got two rush tickets ($40) at 10:45 yesterday (Saturday) and have to say, it's the first time I've been disappointed in a partial view. I gave my mom the better seat (further in) and she said she didn't mind it, but I missed pretty much everything that happened on the right side of the stage. (Row E for reference)
Went today (6/12) around 9:30. There were about 20 people in front of me, not all of whom wanted two tickets apiece (i.e. some were groups of friends), but all tickets for the day were partial view. Ended up buying a Broadway Box discount ticket for $64 instead.
Where was your discount ticket located? And how was the view?
I'm thinking of rushing this on Friday when I get into the City, but I won't even get in until around 1245pm. I'm curious if it's even worth the trek up Broadway to try and get a rush ticket.

I have a last minute ticket for tonight. It's a $39 rush seat in orchestra. Pm if interested to meet in Times Square.
Just in case anyone still wants to know about what the rush has been like for this show, I rushed yesterday (6/24) for the evening performance. I got a rush ticket for A Doll's House Part 2 matinee, then walked over to Miss Saigon just to see if they had any. I showed up around 10:15 AM. There was only one person ahead of me. I got a $39 rush ticket in Orchestra Row X, Seat 107. It was in the center and on the left of the sound booth. The ticket was stamped 'partial view,' but honestly I saw everything. I might have missed a few of the light-up signs during the 'Dream Land' sequences, but otherwise, really good seat. Originally I was going way off to the right, but the guy at the BO noticed my hesitation and found me a much better seat!
Update on Miss Saigon rush tickets:
I rushed on Friday (8/4) and got there a little less than 2 hours before the performance started. I went right in and bought a rush ticket, and my seat was perfect. I was right in the center of the orchestra, a little ways back, but my view was great. There were empty seats next to and in front of me, so I assume there were more rush tickets available.
The show is flawless, and during the last scene, you can hear everyone in the theatre crying.
Any update on how many people are showing up for rush? Would an hour before box office open ensure tickets?
