I am interested if anyone knows about this because there are a lot of ensemble people in this show that I'm very interested in but under ordinary circumstances with Close having so many people waiting for her it would be impossible to get a spot out there. I'm not really that interested in meeting Close, but those ensemble members sure have been in a lot of great shows. My best bet is to find a time when Close doesn't come out, or her understudy is on. Does anyone know more?

i highly doubt a star like her comes out

No. In between shows Ms. Close is kept chained to the radiator in her basement dressing room (actually it doubles as the janitor's closet).

From what my friend had told me, she only does so if her dog needs to be walked between shows.

She did come out at my evening show though, and I think that's a safe bet if you have your Playbill and ticket from the afternoon.

She came out last night with her dog. Security says she always comes out. The night before michael douglas was visiting, but she still came out. Security will tell you if she's coming out or not so you are not waiting.
