Hello,

I am looking for any schools in the NYC or L.A. area that offers scholarships.

Anyone know of any good ones?

Thx!

If you are going to get an MFA, go to a three-year program. These new "fast track" one and two year programs are shameful and decrease the value of what is considered to be a terminal degree.

That said, if you are looking for something that is as close to a "free ride" as possible, your best bet is a state university. Because they receive state funding, they can afford to have many MFA students pay little to nothing if they teach Level 1 classes while attending. Just go to the U/RTA's and see what happens.

Pretty much any school that exists and charges money offers some sort of scholarship. But a full scholarship is a different story so...what Baritone said.
