Donate to Teach For India's campaign to put up a musical!

Hey guys, my friend who's a fellow for Teach For India is running a campaign to generate funds to put together a musical for a class of 45 girls who all belong to low-income families. From the campaign page- 


"Through the story of Arya, I want my girls to believe that each one of us has the ability to fly: to become our best self and reach our highest potential. In a society which constantly tells them to think the way they should, behave the way they should, become what they should, I want my girls to be passionate dreamers, independent thinkers, fierce doers and compassionate individuals.

The other aim is to push our idea of excellence for both the kids and the audience. It is  also to redefine and challenge the present societal narrative of what children from low income communities can achieve."

 

Any donations made are tax deductible and a great way to encourage young kids who'd otherwise never have this kind of exposure. Please consider donating and sharing this post with friends.
