that took off from some "seen-better-days" of a visitors center somewhere in the vicinity of the Palace Theatre?
The tour itself was really excellent; in an eight-year stretch between 1994 and 2002 whenever I was in town I'd go on it. Lead by well informed tour guides and we even had our own police escort!
Most of it consisted of exteriors but I also recall going into locations such as The Lamb's Club, Second Stage when it was brand new, The Hudson years before the renovation, and The Palace when Beauty/Beast was playing there. The tour incredibly went on for several hours and every time I took it, it was essentially different.
My thinking leads me to believe that both the tour and its starting off point are now long gone: just how correct am I?
