What to wear to an audition?#1

so I have my first ever audition in about a month, and I have no clue what to wear! The show is "The 25th Annual Putname County Spelling Bee." I have to sing 16 bars of a song, and also perform a 16 count dance of my choice. If anyone can give me some advice, it will be greatly appreciated!

Hello!

Congrats on your first audition! The rule of thumb I go with is that classy is better than sassy. If you're a guy, a button- up shirt with maybe a tie is best, and if you're a girl, a modest skirt you can move comfortably in. Either way, beware how you wear colors; solid is best, but confusing or complex patterns can be distracting. Shoes? If you have black character shoes, use those, otherwise dress shoes will be great, as long as you can comfortably move in them. Keep hair off of your face, and avoid big scarves or excessive jewelry. Not only is it a distraction to you, but it will hide away the body the directors want to be seeing!

Let me know if I can help with anything else, and break a leg!!
