ADDAMS FAMILY QUESTION IMPORTANT#1

I'm kind of new to the whole musical thing (this is my first NOT working backstage) and I recently auditioned for the Addams family at my high school. I got a part as a "chorus" but there are also ancestors. Can someone explain to me what the difference is between the chorus and the ancestors and what the chorus does??

Hi eva!

Chorus is another word for ensemble, being the cast of characters without names but tell the story just as well with more singing and dancing. In The Addams Family, the Ancestors is just another name for the ensemble. It's a quirky show, I hope you enjoy it! :)

I am currently in Addams family as an ancestor and if it says you are a Victorian ancestor or a bride ancestor or something like that it means you are featured ensemble but if it doesn't have something like that you are ensemble.
