PalJoey said: " Best wishes to Corine--and to Mr. Roxy too."
What happened to Mr Roxy?
Mr Roxy is good. He just PMs just . He was chased off by the bullying and harassment. Especially from PalJoey, which he well knows.
Oh please don't start spewing venom at PJ. Those of us who have been around here long enough know that Roxy is no innocent and gets what he gives.
Best wishes to Corine. She is another one that is no saint. But I wish her all the best health . As well as for Mr Roxy.
Why does anyone let one other person chase them off a chat board? All you have to do is put them on ignore.

Remember, this is in regards to a poster who couldn't figure out how to copy and paste a link in how many years on BWW...
Yeah I don't believe that either. Plus Roxy always put people on ignore and then would reply to them anyway..
I don't think any one person chased him off the board either. He could hold his own.
I wish them both well.
Mr. Roxy claimed to have about half the board on ignore, though he always responded to those posters directly.
My name is neither "adam" nor "greer."
Not to mention, Roxy was also the histrionic voice of doom and gloom regarding pretty much anything. He loved to complain about what he imagined would happen in "what if" scenarios and made wildly exaggerated hyperbolic statements when playing the victim (not that he's completely alone in that). Stuff like, "You'll be drawn, quartered and beheaded by every member of BWW if you say [popular show under discussion] is anything less that the greatest musical in the history of the world!" And he did not handle any changes to New York City after the 70s very well.
I cannot believe that a thread which was started to send well wishes to somebody has devolved to slandering another person—who isn't even present to defend himself. Really embarrassing to read this unfold.
I don't know Corine2, but I'm sending lots of prayers and wishing for the best.
Well, if you want to claim "slander", you'd have to point the finger at Petra for the "chased off" comment. The rest is common knowledge to those of us who have been around since the beginning and posts can be easily searched and found on this very site. He could be present to defend himself if he wanted. Whether he reads the boards or participates in discussions is entirely his choice. Where's your outrage at Petra's comment about PalJoey? Or for launching the slanderous discussion?
I also wish Corine well and always have.
Maybe BC should heed its own advice?
"—who isn't even present to defend himself. Really embarrassing to read this unfold."
haha, how much you wanna bet he's present to defend himself.
You're too embarrassed to read this? Now that's rich.

In spite of the nature of the comments, many end with well-wishes for Corine2 which reminds me of this transcript from the 1/7/17 podcast of NPR’s “Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me” (Actress And Broadway Star Kristin Chenoweth Plays Not My Job):
ADAM FELBER: Kristin, I have a question for you because I'm married to an Oklahoma girl, and she's as relentlessly cheery as you are. And so tell me something, when you say something truly terrible about a person, do you always follow it up with the phrase, "bless her heart"?
(LAUGHTER)
CHENOWETH: Yes.
(LAUGHTER)
CHENOWETH: First of all, I'd like to congratulate you for getting a girl from the best state in the union.
FELBER: All right.
CHENOWETH: B, we always, always, follow it with "bless your heart" because then it's, like, void that you said anything nasty. It's sort of like having a doughnut and a Diet Coke.
SAGAL: Right.
CHENOWETH: If you follow a doughnut up with a Diet Coke, it's void. It never happened.
FAITH SALIE: (Laughter).
SAGAL: Is - is the...
CHENOWETH: Thank you, Faith.
(LAUGHTER)
SAGAL: Is the power of that phrase unlimited? Can it cancel anything, like, I want her dead, bless her heart? You can do that?
CHENOWETH: No, I believe I've even said, she's so ugly she's been beat with an ugly stick, bless her heart.
(LAUGHTER)
SAGAL: Whoa.
FELBER: Yeah, that's how it's done.
SAGAL: Yeah.
Jane2 said: "yeah, and where have you been, tootsie?
"
I AM ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU.
