Hi everyone- I'm making my annual(ish) trip over to London next week and wanted to know if anyone had any must see recommendations for West End or Off West End shows.
At the moment my list is: Art, Hedda Gabler and Twelfth Night at the National, and Travesties.
I'm also considering An Inspector Calls and All the Angels and The White Devil at the Globe.
I haven't seen West End mainstays The Mousetrap or The Woman In Black. Has anyone seen them recently and could comment on whether or not they're worth going to presently?
My list is completely non-musical, but I welcome any suggestions of that variety.
I last saw Woman in Black in 2013. It was really good then. I just think it's a well-written, well-crafted, well-designed show that stays fresh with different casts.
There's a little play at the Palace about some wizards that's supposed to be pretty good.
For musicals there is Dreamgirls, The Girls, Half A Six Pence, I am seeing them this week, so can't say from personal experience how good they are yet.
