Ticketmaster shows that $25 orchestra seats should be available but no matter what date I search, I get the message "Sorry... no tickets match your search".  I tried contacting Ticketmaster but they don't respond.

Has anyone heard anything about these $25 tickets?  I thought maybe they would be available starting today but so far, you still can't purchase them from Ticketmaster.

I don't see them either. On the siding scale, the bottom price is $25, but when you select that, all the seats are grayed out.

They could be doing $25 lottery tickets, and if you win and enter your code, it will apply to certain seats and that logic is already built into the system.

I'm using the Find Seats For Me option on Ticketmaster.  It lets you select $25 in the Price and Section box but never finds any seats at that price so maybe it is for lottery later on.

I called Ticketmaster yesterday to purchase to avoid the whole "you've left one open seat" debacle they've got. My friend had already purchased one ticket and I was trying to get the seat next to him, with 4 other seats to the side of me and it wouldn't let me. So I called.

But before I got a representative the automated system also said "Groundhog Day at the August Wilson Theatre. Tickets range from $25-$147." I find it odd that price point is everywhere, but not available to anyone. The lottery seat code makes the most sense though. 

Either way, excited for this one! I'll be at second preview.

Winners of the free tickets will be selected in a random electronic drawing from all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified via email and scheduled to be distributed at 11:00am EST on or about February 21, 2017. Winners must select their tickets via a unique code no later than 11:00am EST on February 23, 2017. Winners must select their tickets via a unique code no later than 11:00am EST on February 23, 2017. Failure to complete the transaction on Ticketmaster within 48 hours of receiving the winning notification will result in disqualification. Unclaimed tickets will be released and awarded to another entrant. Seating locations will be assigned randomly.

Well, I hate Ticketmaster. Keep getting "you can't leave one seat stranded" errors when I'm not even doing it. And when I pick other one's I get "sorry, the map's acting up." Awesome as I watch the other seats disappear.

Was finally able to buy tickets, but all the good ones were gone. But still got two Center Mezz, row E seats. 

Title of the email was: "You won lottery tickets to the first preview of GROUNDHOG DAY!"

I won, too. And I took one for the team and got some separated single seats so that people won't have to work around leaving them stranded. Heh.

Somewhat off-topic... but I just re-watched Groundhog Day (the movie) last night.  Damn, what a fine film!  I really want this musical to succeed.  I think it would be great if there were several successes this season, and not the typical year of 1-2 successes and a whole bunch of failures...
