Over 1 million Brits sign petition against Trump |

People who are legal residents of the US are still being detained at airports across the country, so it seems that turnabout is fair play for President Trump. You don't get to unilaterally ban people and then expect to be welcomed anywhere else.
Then there's also the fact that he gave the whole "she was asking for it" line in defense of the paparazzi who took photos of Kate Middleton, you know, the future queen, sunbathing topless in France. I'm sure that state dinner won't be nice and awkward.

Yes, it will. The speed with which all this is happening is alarming. Even if I put aside the protests, organized marches, and strikes happening within our own borders, I am doubly alarmed by the rate at which Trump is eroding the Special Relationship we have with one of our strongest allies on the World stage.
It's very alarming to watch the rate at which those signing the petition is growing. It can be monitored HERE.
It took only 10 days for Trump to force a Parliamentary debate to decide whether/not the leader of our country should be banned from convening with the leader of one of our closest allies.
Watching the rate at which that ticker refreshes is like watching the rate at which our country's diplomatic relationships are crumbling. If this is the reaction Trump elicits from our allies, what hope should we have regarding our enemies?
John, Mr Trump and Ms May seemed to get along pretty well last week, even holding hands!

Do you have a file full of obnoxious gifs for every occasion, or do you scour the internet in search of one every time an opportunity comes up, even though it'd be much easier to simply type actual words? Just trying to understand the process behind your pathology.
Are you offended by my gifs, hork?
Many are offended by your posts.
Well, that gif was clearly condescending and nasty. Which also makes it hypocritical. Is anyone surprised?
I thought that gif was a perfect example of a response from someone so obnoxious and immature. It may actually become the first poster I actually block.

The petition is now very close to 2 million signatures and Parliament will debate the issue on February 20th.
The debate can be watched live, online @ http://parliamentlive.tv/ but keep in mind that there's a time difference (in my case, London's time is 6 hours later).
Theresa May and Donald Trump seem to be today's Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan.

Sadly, some ignorant Republicans will see that as a good thing.

"It was the Thatcher/Reagan combo that created todays problems. He being a puppet President, she being Starstruck.. They handed the keys of their country's to the bankers & big business, to create the world economy. In the UK this included the destruction of the trade union movement, and so the downward spiral of wages began. Shameful, and we are now paying the price.

Now it's book burning. Sound familiar !!

Well, it was a few Harry Potter fans (one mentioned specifically) who said they would burn their Potter books and DVDs because of a liberal Twitter post from Rowling. Her responses to these morons have been ingenious.
