It's national security only on the surface. The ban affects people in places ravaged by war, and although we already have an incredibly stringent vetting process, this ban is meant to be in place to make it somehow more difficult. It's just a smokescreen to prevent Muslims from entering the country- and it will effect scores of people who desperately need help. 

The wall, as has been stated ad nauseum, is just absurd. It will be ridiculously costly and will do very little to curtail immigration. And, to top it off, that isn't a problem that needs solving- immigration is at net zero and has been for the past several years. There isn't any surge of immigrants flowing in to justify this. And even there were, a giant wall is the stupidest way to deal with it and will waste tons of money.

BC - National security is not a bad thing, but Trump's agenda list will not make this country safer or secure. Both George W Bush and Obama made it clear this county is not at war with Islam.  Trump and Co. plan to make it clear this country is at war with Islam.  The dumb sh*ts are playing right in the ISIS hands.  It is a fact ISIS wanted Trump to be elected.  They use/used Trump and his comments to recruit people. That is not what is being said Petralicious. No one here has said that Trump has killed anyone or opened up concentration camps. etc. But even Hitler didn't start out like that. He started off slowly - - - spreading propaganda, silencing his opposers by any means necessary, imposing prohibitions, planting seeds which all led to his final solution.

So no, Trump hasn't killed anyone, he hasn't opened up any concentration camps but one thing is abundantly clear in his actions: HATE. 

Hate, racism, mysogyny, xenophobia, scapegoating.

Take your pick it's all there in full display. Every day.

Xenophobia is fear against immigrants; not illegal immigrants. Immigrants are wonderful! It may shock you, adamgreer, that I come from a family of immigrants myself! Illegals, however, are no bueno. A wall in this regard is good.

Also, comparing Trump to Hitler remains the most asinine thing ever, and doing so completely ruins your legitimacy.
