We are traveling to NYC for our annual Broadway pilgrimage in May and could use some help.  We have tickets to Hello Dolly, Dear Evan Hanson and Comet.  We are trying to select a 4th show.

We were considering Anastasia, War Paint, Sunset Boulevard or Miss Saigon.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

All are honestly shaping up to be great productions. Could you maybe tell us more about your guys' favorite shows or types of shows? That would help us narrow down for you!

Four good choices.. and I'd also throw Come From Away into the mix. I have yet to read anything less than stellar about it (in pre-New York shows), and I think it'll be the sleeper hit of the season.

Anastasia will likely tour and there's no celeb casting, so in the interest of narrowing it down, I'd probably cut that one. Miss Saigon after it for the same reason, though I know Jon Jon Briones is supposed to be fantastic.

Thanks for the helpful feedback.

Some of our favorites include Next to Normal, Grey Gardens, Hamilton, Spring Awakening, In the Heights, Waitress, Fun Home and Color Purple.

If you like Fun Home, Color Purple, or Next to Normal then I think you'd love Come From Away.

Why not a play? There's a lot of exciting new ones opening this spring.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

We are also visiting in May and have on tickets for....

Ground Hog Day, Six Degrees of Separation, Dear Evan Hansen, Sweeney Todd at Barrow St Theater, Come From Away, Doll House Part 2, and The Great Comet.

I agree with little Sally maybe a drama in there somewhere? Or I am REALLY looking forward to Sweeney Todd as its a very intimate setting and in May it will be headlined by some amazing performers, so I think it will be awesome.

WAR PAINT has the same composer, lyricist, librettist, and director as GREY GARDENS.  It has Ebersole from GREY GARDENS, as well as LuPone.  Reviews from the Chicago tryout last summer are out there to consider.
