With wisdom born of pain, I still firmly believe that we are stronger together.  While I confess that I am more than a bit weary and can't believe that in 2017, in this country, we are still fighting for basic human rights for ourselves, our loved ones, our friends, our countrymen, our neighbors (and yes, even for the rights of those who would deny me and mine our rights), I was heartened to participate in the mosaic of a demonstration held here in NYC on Saturday, and to see the coverage of demonstrations all over the country and the world.   This song and its sentiment goes out to all – whether or not you are a woman - with hopes that you each find the courage, strength and determination that you need to get you through your own challenges.
