If you don't buy from Ticketmaster, be sure to get to the theater very early and make sure you are the first person with that ticket to get through the door... rather than being the one turned away five minutes later with the same barcodes.

Or just don't buy from someone other than Ticketmaster.
I know it's not the same site, but I purchased my Hamilton tickets through Broadway.com and had no issues. Sure, I paid a premium service fee, but it was far cheaper than resale on TM. I bought them back in June for this past Friday (after my attempts to go through TM post-Tony's failed and the tickets were lost from my cart). I was nervous leading up to the performance, but I showed up about 45 minutes prior to curtain and there they were, waiting in an envelope at Will Call. I can at least vouch for them, but otherwise I've only ever gone through TM or Telecharge.

Oh sure, and I would never dream of paying their prices otherwise (I bought my DEH tickets direct from Telecharge, for example). But when their price for 2 center mezz tickets was far less than 1 under TM resales, I decided to go for it. Definitely not a splurge I can afford to do often, but well worth it in this instance!
