Character Shoes for a non-dancer#1

I am in need of a nice character shoe to invest in. I am willing to buy a la duca if that is right. I'm not an avid dancer but I can handle most simple show dances. Please help! :)

If youre a non dancer and aren't required to dance that much in the show, then I wouldn't fork out the 200 bucks for La Ducas. While they're amazing and comfy when I'm in a non dancer role (like recently I was in ensemble for Annie and it had a bit of movement but not dance dance) then I invested in a good pair of Capezio character shoes. Worked a treat and were suprisingly comfy! And only around $70!! I strongly suggest checking out Capezios website or even Bloch, if you're not sure about purchasing La Ducas!
