I am auditioning for the role of Louise in Gypsy, and I'm having trouble finding a song. It can't be from the show.

I want to showcase range and acting in the piece. Suggestions?

Try using the song "I Come From The Town of Mira" from Carnival.  It is sung in the same range as "Little Lamb"  from Gypsy.
