I'm thought about posting on the main board about this, but that's mainly for New York events and this is in South Chicagoland:

The Lawyer's Father, a new play by myself, Alex Kulak, will be produced by the Joliet Drama Guild this February as part of their first annual Local Writer's Weekend.

As the trial that will define his career draws near, as does the birth of his first child, young lawyer Derrick O'Connor is plagued by the memories of his estranged father. He analyzes what led up to cutting his dad out of his life, and begins to wonder if something similar will occur between him and his own child.

The Lawyer's Father, by Alex Kulak, will receive it's premiere at the Bicentennial Theater in Joliet, IL on Saturday, February 18th, 2017, for one night only, presented by the Joliet Drama Guild, and directed by Shane Tierney. Stay posted for a cast and more details!
