Hello! I am conducting a study on introverted actors, and I am looking to collect data. If you could please fill out the survey below, that would be wonderful! Both introverted and extroverted actors are welcome. Your identity will be kept anonymous and I will use pseudonyms in the paper. Some questions asked are of a personal nature, and you do not have to answer any questions you don't feel comfortable answering. I'm hoping this study will benefit the acting community. Thank you!

1. Tell me about your acting experience.
2. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
3. Why do you act?
4. What is your opinion on introverted actors?
5. What Challenges do you believe introverted actors face?
6. How do you feel about those challenges?
7. How do you feel about the social side of acting when you're not on stage or in front of the camera?
8. What strengths do introverted actors possess?
9. What are your favorite types of roles to play?
10. Tell me about your experience with stage fright.

I would, but ...

I've always been SHY
I confess that I'm SHY
Can't you guess that this confident air
Is a mask that I wear 'cause I'm shy
And you can be sure
Way down deep I'm demure
Though some people I know may deny it
At bottom I'm quiet and pure
I'm aware that it's wrong to be meek as I am
My chances may pass me by
I pretend to be strong, but as weak as I am
All I can do is try
God knows I try
Though I'm frightened and shy
And despite the impression I give
I confess that I'm living a lie
Because I'm actually terribly timid
And horribly shy

Et al, lah ... Poof! Cheyenne Jackson ordered me a drink at Standing Ovations 2 waayyyyyy before Girly hung out with him in the dressing room and he tickled D2.

Do you need/want professional actors, or just those that have acted/still have a passion.   I haven't acted in many years, but could easily answer those questions for you from when I did.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
